As Kansas City enters its first week of spring, several rounds of showers and thunderstorms are likely, according to National Weather Service in Kansas City. The storms could bring between one to two inches of rain to most of the metro area by the end of the work week, according to the weather service. The first round of storms are expected to arrive Tuesday. Between a quarter and half inch of rain is expected to fall across the Kansas City area before the storms move out, according to the weather service.
